A new development will replace a 1950’s public housing development for the Cambridge Housing Authority.  The site planning options reconnect Jefferson Park to the city that surrounds it and orient housing around landscaped courtyards.  Each apartment has its own front door on the street with outdoor spaces that mediate between private interiors and the public space beyond.  The rain screen cladding and energetic massing provide a forward looking image for the diverse group of residents
