Abacus worked with the Town of Camden, Maine conducting a series of public workshops to break a ten year logjam in efforts to build a new public safety facility. A temporary storefront architecture and planning studio was set up with a steady stream of citizens dropping in to observe and guide the team’s design work. Recommendations were made to the community in a public forum intended to build a consensus for moving forward.
