Museum of Fine Arts

Commissioned by Boston’s Museum of Fine Art, David Eisen designed a series of cards and three dimensional objects for sale by the museum. Interlocked layers of laser cut paper create miniature landscapes and buildings that unfold in ingenious ways. Solid and void are carefully composed to suggest the world of nature, a sense of urbanity, and the evocative power of abstract forms.
