A non-descript building in Coolidge Corner is transformed into a series of light-filled educational and worship spaces with a colorful bookstore/lounge. A floating ceiling, translucent screens, and sculpted Douglas fir panels give the main sanctuary space a spiritual quality. A cascading stair connects the entry to the lower level and a wood paneled “tower” carries the eye to the skylight above.
