Libraries + Worship

Libraries and community centers form the core of urban neighborhoods, bringing diverse groups of people together. We design these buildings to engage the street, define meaningful public spaces, and create vibrant places for learning, work and play. They are knitted into their contexts, while celebrating the activities that go on inside.

We work closely with neighborhood groups to insure that buildings reflect the needs of those who use them, and that they are intuitively understandable inside and out. Our public buildings are widely recognized as models of accessibility and sustainability.

Inventive renewal of existing buildings and empty lots contributes to the improvement of entire neighborhoods
